The Truck - Ploddy

Over the years 'Ploddy', a Series 105 GX LandCruiser Diesel, has had a number of accessories installed for the purpose of making the vehicle even more competent, more comfortable, and safer when fully loaded, particularly when encountering rough terrain.
On some extended overlanding trips one needs to be self-sufficient for at least 7 to 8 days due to the lack of shopping malls and fuel stations. The availability of water may also be non-existent, unreliable or even contaminated at times.

The vehicle needed to be accessorised and equipped accordingly and we have attempted to cover most eventualities using common sense and a tight budget.  If one is not careful one's hard-earned cash can easily disappear into the proverbial huge bottomless hole.
